FIELD: petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: iron-containing ores or their compositions with aluminosilicates or aluminophosphates at weight ratio from 20:80 to 80:20 are used as catalysts in process conducted under straight-flow or circulation conditions, at pressures between 10 and 100 atm, temperature 220-360 C, initial synthesis gas flow rate 100 to 5000 h-1, initial H2/CO molar ratio (1-3):1, and carbon dioxide level in reactor-inlet gas stream from 0.01 to 30%. Catalyst reduction is carried out with synthesis gas at 220-360 C, pressure between 10 and 100 atm, and synthesis gas volume intake between 100 and 5000 h-1.
