FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: heating cable has pair of elongated electrode wires each covered with first insulating layer. This first layer is at least partially stripped off these wires at chosen alternating points and at chosen distanced between them. Resistive heating wire is wound together with fibrous insulating material thread on electrode wires so that this heating wire is brought in electric contact with electrode wires at chosen alternating points so as to electrically connect these alternating points to resistive heating wire. Second insulating layer covers resistive heating wire and insulation to form outer surface of proposed cable. EFFECT: enhanced cable flexibility. 18 cl, 6 dwg
