SUBSTANCE: the method deals with intracutaneous injection of formalin solution (40% formaldehyde) at the dosage of 0.1 ml at the area of external surface of auricular concha. Response is determined by the latter's thickening 24 h after injection. Sows are divided into 3 groups: resistant, stress-sensitive and doubtful stress-sensitive ones. EFFECT: simplified method which requires no special equipment. 1 tbl
