FIELD: biology, horse breeding.
SUBSTANCE: intracutaneous injection of about 0.05-0.06 ml purified turpentine into the middle third of the neck provides the chance to conclude upon the level of stress sensitivity in horses in 96-120 h according to the thickening of cutaneous fold and the diameter of swelling: at thickening of cutaneous fold being 11 and more mm and the diameter of swelling being 5.1 and more cm - stress-sensitive; thickening of cutaneous fold being up to 10 mm and the diameter of swelling being up to 5 cm - stress-doubtful; at no reaction - stress-resistant. The innovation enables to select horses of dairy breeds into the breeding center of stress-resistant animals during rearing.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
