FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed flat car has frame 2 with side uprights 3 and detachable end face walls. Extreme uprights of each side board are tied up in pairs. All uprights are connected with frame by rigid nondetachable joints, mainly, welded to frame. Uprights separating middle and extreme parts of frame are arranged over central cross axles of corresponding bogies 1. Distance between adjacent uprights in central part of frame is smaller than distance between adjacent uprights in middle parts of frame and is greater than distance between adjacent uprights in extreme parts of frame. Ten uprights are installed along each side board of frame, and three zone are formed in central part of frame between uprights. Uprights have upper sections of constant cross-section and lower sections of variable cross-section. Single standing uprights have lower part with stiffening ribs widening in longitudinal and cross directions. Uprights are provided with detachable and/or telescopic end pieces. Holes are made in at least part of uprights and/or end pieces in their upper parts. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 6 cl, 2 dwg
