FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to optical equipment used to measure and test geometric parameters of heated articles and can be employed in manufacture of shells. Technical result lies in design of new opticomechanical unit setting dimension in which single-coordinate movement of cone is carried out simultaneously with installation of converter of position of part edge on specified diameter with due account of change of coordinate of center of part. Novelty of device consists in free mounting of cone of opticomechanical unit of setting of diameter with screw mechanism of movement on centering rest. Rest is fixed in measurement plane on mobile base of unit setting dimension and is made fast to mobile rod placed in vertical guiding bushing of mobile base of unit setting dimension and coupled to mobile base with the aid of second spring securing contact of cone with centering rest. Mechanism of relative vertical movement of turning axle of lever with converter of position of part edge is anchored on mobile base of unit setting dimension. Mobile base of unit setting dimension is mounted for movement in vertical immobile guides with units fixing and recording values of movement.
