FIELD: equipment for vacuum cleaning. SUBSTANCE: vacuum cleaner includes housing, suction brush for sucking air and dust and cyclone type dust-collection apparatus. Housing of vacuum cleaner has section with drive electric motor and dust collection chamber joined with said section. Cyclone type dust-collection apparatus is mounted in dust collection chamber for separating dust from air by action of centrifugal forces. Cyclone type dust collection apparatus includes hollow cylindrical body of cyclone collector having open upper end, closed lower end and opening for discharging dust. Open upper end provides introduction of air and dust into housing of cyclone collector for separating dust from air by action of centrifugal forces. Then contaminations are discharged from housing of cyclone collector through opening for discharging dust. Cyclone type apparatus also includes dust trap for trapping dust removed through dust discharging opening; member of base jointly connected with dust trap; cover closing upper end of housing of cyclone collector. Cover has air inlet duct through which air and dust sucked by means of brush are introduced to housing of cyclone collector, air discharge duct through which air is removed out of housing of cyclone collector; and dust-separation grating. The last extends downwards from air discharge duct to housing of cyclone collector and it has large number of fine holes.
