FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: vertical vacuum cleaner has outer cyclone receiver for collecting large particles from flow of contaminated air, which is drawn through suction brush, and inner cyclone receiver for collecting small particles, which were not filtered out in outer cyclone receiver. Inner receiver has contaminant discharge opening formed in central part of said receiver and adapted for discharging major part of large particle contaminants separated in outer receiver. Inner cyclone receiver is provided with tube for preventing return flow. Tube is extending to predetermined height from its center to direct descending vortex air flow back from inner receiver bottom and prevent formation of contaminant back flow. Such construction provides for effective separation and collection of dust and contaminants. EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 8 dwg
