FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves determining cardiac rhythm turbulence (CRT) onset and CRT inclination angle. When detecting onset as CRT<0% and CRT inclination > 2.5 ms/R-Rm, after averaging the values, induction in at least 10 supraventricular extrasystoles having the same pre-ectopy interval being 10% as large when compared to effective atrioventricular junction refractory period is carried out by means of transesophageal electrocardiostimulation so that not less than 20 sinusoid complexes are to be available before and after induced extrasystole. The CRT onset CRT<0% and CRT inclination < 2.5 ms/R-Rm being found before and after stimulation at least in 10 supraventricular extrasystole complexes, atrial fibrillation or flutter paroxysm progressive development is to be predicted to occur within a month after examination.

EFFECT: high accuracy of prognosis.
