FIELD: medicine, cardiology. SUBSTANCE: a patient undergoes echocardiiographic testing at "M" and "B" modes. Simultaneously, electrocardiogram is registered. The value of intraauricular conductivity is estimated from the onset of electric auricular stimulation till the onset of mechanical contraction of either left or right auricle at "M" mode. In case of antegrade auricular stimulation one should carry out pharmacological cardiac denervation. At development of 1 or more parts of retrograde auricular stimulation before or after denervation it is possible to predict the paroxysms of auricular fibrillation. The method enables to predict the development for the paroxysms of auricular fibrillation during a year after testing, in patients with antegrade auricular stimulation, in particular.
