FIELD: metallurgy, continuous casting of metal. SUBSTANCE: increased quality of cast metal is obtained thanks to increased stability of process of continuous casting won in agreement with invention by replacement of pouring pipe in mould of continuous casting machine designed to manufacture thin- sheet ingots or slabs. Additional plate 4 is put on guiding rails near plate 3 joined to pouring pipe 12 fixed in operational position 14. Separable pouring pipe 2 is positioned close to this additional plate 4. In this case mentioned plates 3 and 4 form perfectly flat surface on adjoining end face which provides for removal of worn-out pouring pipe. EFFECT: increased quality of cast metal. 5 cl, 4 dwg
