FIELD: hydraulic engineering, laboratory testing equipment. SUBSTANCE: test bed is designed to measure axial forces emerging with operation of centrifugal pump. Test bed includes pump, coupling and electric motor. Shaft of electric motor on side opposite to pump is extended and cover is fitted with sleeve housing partition. Two thrust bearings in races are placed on both sides of partition. Disc springs carrying strain-gauge transducers are positioned between partition and races. Ball bearings of electric motor are mounted for movement. EFFECT: increased measurement precision, reduced labor input while conducting experiments. 4 dwg
