FACILITY FOR COAL EXCAVATION FROM INCLINED AND STEEPLY INCLINED BEDS, CONVEYER FLIGHT AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR THE FACILITY Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC E21D23/00

Abstract RU 2276729 C1

FIELD: mining, particularly stoped coal bed excavation with the use of facilities with hydraulic powered supports and cutter-loaders.

SUBSTANCE: facility comprises conveyer flight, cutter-loader, control system and support sections. Each support section comprises roof with apron plate, which may rotate towards coal face through 180°, railing, posts, moving jack, section guiding means and base connected to flight by moving jack. Base of support section is integrally formed and is provided with vertical holder and ears arranged in base plane of symmetry. Section guiding means includes two pivotally connected beams with three parallel hinges having fingers, which are parallel to ground surface and face surface. Conveyer flight comprises chutes including front and rear profiles and horizontal sheets, as well as connection members, which form face and goaf power belt of the conveyer flight. The chutes comprise vertical sheets made as goaf side of the chute. The third goaf power belt is arranged on above goaf side. Upper connection member of conveyer flight has no longitudinal gaps and form guiding strip with constant pitch, which is provided with flat lower surface to provide continuous cooperation with reverse grip, which grips goaf skis of the cutter-loader. Control system comprises support control hydrosystem, which is connected with central control panel and with posts of each section provided with pilot-operated check valves, moving jacks, apron plate rotation jacks having pilot-units. Pilot-unit bodies are secured to conveyer flight in area corresponding to cutter-loader location after coal excavation opposite to above section. Control arms of the pilot-units extend into path of control ski movement. Pilot-unit body has vertical bore extending transversely to bed ground in which treaded shank of guide plate is inserted. The guide plate cooperates with slide of cutter-loader follower.

EFFECT: increased coal production from inclined and steeply inclined beds, elimination of staff presence at coal face, prevention of support section unloading in cutter-loader operation zone, increased cutter-loader speed and rate of support forming.
