FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transfer mechanisms between drive member and valve of internal combustion engine. Proposed hydraulic tappet has housing 1 in form of hollow cylinder 2 with oil feed hole 3 in wall closed from one end by bottom 4 with convex member 22, thin-walled bushing 5 consisting of outer cylinder 6, guide cylinder 7, conical part 9 and flat 10, and it has also hydraulic compensator 8. The latter has piston 13, cap 12 with lock-ring 20, spring 14 and ball valve 17. Piston 13 and bottom 4 with convex member 22 form central oil space. Thin-walled bushing 5 is installed inside housing 1 resting on bottom 4 and is rigidly connected to cylinder 2. EFFECT: reduced noise when starting the engine, improved reliability. 2 cl, 1 dwg
