FIELD: medicine, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention discloses the sustained-release preparation containing water-insoluble and difficultly soluble salt formed by polyvalent metal and physiologically active substance of water-soluble peptide type with exception for endothelin antagonist and biologically degradable polymer. Preparation is prepared by dispersion of peptide polyvalent metal salt in oily phase containing biodegradable polymer, emulsion added to an aqueous phase and drying. The sustained-release preparation shows ability to release physiologically active substance of water-soluble peptide type with exception for endothelin antagonist being at retention of its biological activity after its administration in vivo. Except for, physiologically active substance of water-soluble peptide with exception for endothelin antagonist as a component of the sustained-release preparation retains stability for a long time and loss of its biological activity is insignificant. EFFECT: improved method of preparing, valuable properties. 25 cl
