FIELD: cleaning of heat power engineering equipment and pipe-lines, applicable for drilling of drains and holes in the ground. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the fact that jets are formed in the liquid flow, cavitation is developed in them, and the jets act on the deposits, which are carried away from the pipe under cleaning by the liquid flow, an annular belt of cavitation is set up by rotation of the cavitator at a speed of 100 to 1200 rpm, and the amount of the fed liquid is synchronized depending on the speed of cavitator rotation and cleaning rate. The device for realization of the method has a liquid feeding system and a cavitator with a rotation drive. The cavitator is made in the form of a hollow shaft with a pressure friction loss in the form of a triangular shape installed at its end. The hollow shaft is installed with a chamber and communicates with the liquid feeding system, an impeller is installed on the hollow shaft in the chamber. EFFECT: provided cleaning of pipe-lines that are completely clogged by deposits, enhanced rate and efficiency of cleaning, provided drilling of holes in the ground. 5 cl, 2 dwg
