FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking puncture biopsy to determine oxyproline and glucosamine glycane contents in the puncture samples. The ratio of the former to the latter one not exceeding 0.3, gel is removed from the inflammation focus by means of puncturing. The ratio being greater than 0.3, subtotal suction method for removing gel is applied. Local compression treatment is applied to the lesion area after the operation in the first case. Total compression treatment is applied in the second case. Antibacterial therapy is additionally applied. EFFECT: accelerated treatment course; lower risk of traumatic complications to occur.
