FIELD: antibiotics. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing cyclosporine A of high purity by treatment of crude product containing cyclosporine complex by multistep chromatography on silica gel at height of column loading from 10 to 52%. Mixture of toluene with acetone taken in the amount from 10 to 30 vol.% or toluene with ethyl acetate taken in the amount from 10 to 35 vol.% is used as an eluting solution. Invention relates to also cyclosporine A of high purity where content of cyclosporines L, U and D is less 0.05% and content of cyclosporines B and C is <0.02 vol. % and to the industrial method of purification of cyclosporine A from crude product containing cyclosporine complex.
