FIELD: thermal processing of combustible shales; fuel processing industry; production of chemical raw materials, liquid and gaseous fuels. SUBSTANCE: method includes thermal destruction of shale by solid heat-transfer agent forming vapor-and-gas mixture and coke-ash residue, dry cleaning of vapor-and-gas mixture from mechanical impurities, sprinkling dry cleaned vapor-and-gas mixture by condensates, condensation by sprinkled vapor-and-gas mixture, obtaining heavy fraction of tar and removing it after condensation, separation of noncondensed portion of sprinkled vapor- and-gas mixture after condensation, separation of middle fraction and light fraction of tar in rectifying column, withdrawal of vapor-and-gas mixture from upper section of rectifying column, cooling this mixture, condensation and separation at obtaining tar water, semicoking gas and gasoline fraction; part of gasoline fraction is fed to upper section of rectifying column. In sprinkling dry cleaned vapor-and-gas mixture by condensate mixture, first condensate of the most contaminated heavy fraction of tar is separated; after sprinkling, first condensate is with drawn separately from the said heavy fraction of tar, first condensate is cooled and is mixed after cooling with part of gasoline fraction obtained after separation; mixture of first condensate and gasoline fraction is cleaned at withdrawal of coal tars; above-mentioned cleaned mixture of first condensate and gasoline fraction is used together with part of light fraction withdraw from rectifying column as mixture of condensates for sprinkling dry cleaned vapor-and-gas mixture. Part of light fraction of tar withdrawn from rectifying column is returned to lower section of rectifying column. EFFECT: low content of mechanical admixtures, middle fractions inclusive; improved heavy fraction of tar used as fuel production or chemical raw material, obtaining diesel oil and gasoline fraction of high quality. 4 cl, 1 dwg
