METHOD OF JOINING FLEXIBLE VENTILATION PIPELINE LINKS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry; applicable in ventilation of long blind mine workings. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of ends to be joined of basic and connected pipes. Locking loops are located and rigidly fixed with preset interval over pipes perimeters, respectively, at a distance from end equalling the length of combination of links to be joined and on both sides from preset point of location of locking rings. Formed on link ends are through holes whose number corresponds to quantity of locking loops. The method provides for ventilation pipes sewing-in the locking ring in end of basic link or their location in end of fold. End of basic link on place of mounting of joint is turned up for length of combination of joined links, and locking ring is located in formed fold. Then link is moved onto end of basic link, ends of joined links are combined and secured to locking loops with flexible connections. EFFECT: extended field of application, higher reliability and tightness of joining. 5 dwg
