FIELD: physics; measurement.

SUBSTANCE: application field of invention is jet engine fuel quality control, as well as analysis of detrimental effect of condensation structures on aircraft fuel delivery system. Substance of invention consists that is artificial fuel condensation structure is formed and exposed to mechanical force to evaluate cohesion overcoming intensity. If shear force value observed is exceeded, fuels are considered to form condensation structures in service. Condensation structures are formed of aggregated dispersed phase resulted from sediment of fuel and water mixture in ratio 4:1.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability of jet engine fuel analysis for condensation structure formation in friction pairs of fuel-metering equipment.
