FIELD: rolled stocked production, namely supply of lubricant at process of rolling bars. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of forcing briquettes of grease to rolling rolls at rolling process; realizing lubrication of each roll by means of two briquettes driven to rotation in mutually opposite directions at rate nbr=nr(r-e- /2)2 x r x sin[(1.57 x r x e x rl -nв-/2)/0.035 r], where nr - roll revolution number, rev/min; r - radius of roll grooved pass, m; e - shift of center of curvature of roll grooved pass, m; Δ- - interroll gap, m; rl - rounding radius, m. Rotation directions of roll and briquette portions with maximum radiuses are the same. Briquettes of grease are shifted one relative to another along roll grooved pass; rotation axes of briquettes are turned to different sides from vertical axis of roll grooved pass by angle restricted by 1/2 of circle arc of roll grooved pass. Method provides increase of roll strength by 1.6 times due to taking into account mismatching of linear velocity values of rolled piece and portions of roll grooved pass.
