FIELD: manufacture of flat helices of conveyer belt and net weaving. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes mechanism for feeding wire and tension device; mechanism for transmitting rotation of electric motor to winding blade; mechanism for winding helices. Winding blade is bent to the left or to the right relative to its lengthwise axis depending upon direction of helix winding. Winding blade is chamfered on its lengthwise faces for reducing contact area of blade and wire. Wire is fed from fixed coil for winding it to the left or to the right depending upon helices wound with left or right direction of weaving at using inner untwisting force created in wire at winding helices on winding blade.
