FIELD: materials handling facilities; conveyor transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wire conveyor belt made of any wire to suit specific conditions of operation. Proposed wire conveyor belt contains double flat spirals arranged across longitudinal axis of conveyor belt in parallel to each other with alternating left-hand and right-hand helix which are hinge connected by cross rods fitted ion joints of double spirals of left-hand and right-hand helix to form links. Double spirals cover entire width of belt. Extreme coils of spirals are secured on cross rods. Belt is provided with sides along longitudinal edges alternating through link of belt or along entire length of belt by bending both ends of cross rods to height of side. Proposed belt is simple in design and reliable in operation. EFFECT: increased strength of conveyor belt, enlarged sphere of application and operating capabilities. 8 cl, 21 dwg
