FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor belts designed for operation in high temperature atmospheres. SUBSTANCE: additional spirals and connecting pins are introduced into conveyor belt containing flat right-hand and left-hand helix spirals hinge connected to each other by pins. Number of additional spirals and pins is defined by height of spiral allowing accommodation of additional pins and coils of spirals hinge connected by these pins. Method of manufacture of wire belt comes to the following: first spirals are placed in parallel with each other so that leading coils of each following spiral should enter the zone of trailing coils of two or more preceding spirals and then trailing and leading coils of corresponding spirals (main and additional ones) are hinge connected by pins forming conveyor belt of required length. Edges are formed by bending the ends of spirals on pins and connecting the ends of adjacent pins to each other. When mounting, conveyor belt, thus formed, is butt-joined by ends aligning the leading coils of spirals of beginning of belt with trailing coils of spirals of belt ends and are connected by pins.
