FIELD: composites. SUBSTANCE: principal operations: preparing reinforcement elements in the form of powder, preparing matrix material in the form of powder, combining and stirring the powders followed by heat treatment of resulting mixture. According to invention, material of matrix is nanopowder (1-150 nm) taken in amounts going from 1 to 100% of the weight of matrix material. Powders are mixed simultaneously with preparation of the matrix material nanopowder, mixing being performed in a preservative. The latter is removed after stirring by evacuation to give mixture, which is subjected to magnet-pulse compaction and then exposed to explosion effect generating pressure by 1.1 to 20 times exceeding magnet-pulse compaction pressure. Thus treated mixture is heated to melt matrix material and resulting suspension, consisted of solid reinforcing elements and molten matrix material, is stirred and cooled.
