FIELD: technology of coding with magnetic means. SUBSTANCE: magnetic label or marker includes first magnetic material characterized by high magnetic permeability, low coercitivity and non-linear characteristic B-H and second magnetic material capable of constant magnetization. Above-mentioned magnetic materials are superimposed one on another and have common boundary in substance. Second magnetic material displays mean coercitivity. Selected sections of above-mentioned second magnetic material can show magnetization in order to conduct magnetic division of first magnetic material into group of magnetically separated zones. Lengths of above-mentioned magnetically separated zones and/or lengths of magnetized sections ( slits ) form elements of code. EFFECT: improved reliability magnetic labels. 13 cl, 3 dwg
