FIELD: instruments for measuring magnetic properties of materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves design of magnetic markers or labels as relative position of set of discrete magnetically active regions in linear order. Another claim of invention discloses method which involves requesting magnetic markers or labels in defined request region, when marker includes magnetic material with high magnetic permeability, for example, for reading magnetic data that have been stored in marker, or for using marker response to detect it or its position in request region. Request process involves sequence of applications of magnetic field which intensity provides in order to saturate marker magnetic material with high magnetic permeability, and magnetic zero.
