DEVICE FOR LAYER-BY-LAYER PLACING OF ARTICLES INTO CONTAINER Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: packing facilities; group packing of piece articles into containers. SUBSTANCE: device designed for mechanization of placing of groups of piece articles into containers, for instance, placing of cans into boxes, has feed conveyor, feeder with shutoff device, container for articles, for forming and delivering layer of articles into container. Moreover, device is provided with special means for supply of linings, and drive. Feeder has accumulator, article layer forming device and stirrer. Container for articles is made in form of table reciprocating in horizontal plane square to axis of feed conveyor and feeder with delays in extreme positions. Container has two receivers for articles mounted at both at both ends of table in its lower part. Each receiver has movable bottom made for rising and lowering. Article layer forming and delivering mechanism is made in form of cam-and-gear mechanism with carrier for transfer of articles from accumulator into layer forming mechanism and further on into one of receivers. Lining supply means conveyor delivering lining into container filling position, table arranged between said conveyor and container and mechanism transferring linings from table and putting them onto layer of articles. Shutoff device is made in form of pressure strip being output link of cam mechanism. EFFECT: improved reliability and high capacity of device. 15 cl, 4 dwg
