FIELD: alloys as structural materials. SUBSTANCE: invention provides a method for manufacturing deformable irregular- shape intermediate products and finished products such as bulkheads, fittings, girders, etc. for use in aerospace and transport engineering. Following operations are involved: cast of ingot, homogenization, hammering of ingot, pressing of hammered ingot, tempering, two-step cold deformation (first, stretch flattening to residual deformation 1-5% and then volumetric bending with simultaneous topical plastic compressive deformation 1 to 20% in interfacing zones of blank members oriented at an angle 45-135 deg. to each other), and ageing (first, heating to 90-120 C for 5-24 h and then heating to 160-190 C for 5-20 h). EFFECT: increased strength characteristics and crack resistance and lowered level of residual stress, which favors manufacture of products showing no warpage and twisting during mechanical operations. 6 cl, 1 tbl, 4 ex
