FIELD: wind power engineering. SUBSTANCE: plant has four sails mounted on shaft of each of windmills; they function as running blades; windmills are arranged into strings and function to set low-speed electric generators into rotary motion; novelty is that windmills are mounted on tubular supporting piles and horizontal straight strings are swinging under action of wind away from powerhouse ; each string has tubular shafts whose ends are rigidly fixed together by means of clamps to form common power shafts. EFFECT: enhanced power capacity, reduced construction cost and maintenance charges, simplified design. 9 dwg
