FIELD: conversion of river current energy to electrical energy. SUBSTANCE: power station has four-rope flexible shafts of different length; they are made in form of parabola with similar number of hydraulic turbines mounted on it by means of sliding suspension. Hydraulic turbines are made from flexible sheets in form one part located on rounded-off parts of shafts. Foam plastic washers fitted on shafts between hydraulic turbines raise shafts above river bottom. At one end, flexible shafts are connected with their electric generators by means of chains transmission; electric generators are mounted in building of power station. At other end, flexible shafts are connected with roller blocks forming single bundle with bearings and load-bearing rope whose ends are moored to river bank bitts. Roller blocks are movably fitted on load-bearing rope and are connected with two winches installed on different banks. EFFECT: possibility of power generation without disturbing navigation. 2 dwg
