FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing cap of 12-14 mm diameter manufactured as hollow cylinder from polymer material with through hole in the center of 10-12 mm diameter for wetting cornea and performing tonometric examination in the course of compression. Then, rarefaction of 50-60 mm of mercury column is created therein increasing intraocular pressure to 26-27 mm of mercury column. The device is hold on an eye for 10-15 min and the cap is taken off. Massage is carried out not longer than 1.5 min along muscle fibers. The whole procedure is repeated twice a day during 2 weeks with the treatment course repeated 2-3 times a year. Preparations improving eye trophism and blood supply are administered during the whole treatment course 6 times a day.
