ROTATIONAL LIQUID METER Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: measurement of amount of liquid flowing over pipe-line. SUBSTANCE: rotational liquid meter has case, rotor with four radial cylindrical grooves where mobile working elements in the form of balls are located, counting mechanism. Low part of case has trough which radius is equal to radius of ball. Spiral-like springy twisted cords are installed on internal surfaces of grooves of rotor. Rotor has conduits in the form of truncated cone which face outwards with smaller diameter. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity to low flow rates, prolonged service life of meter thanks to prevention of sedimentation on internal surfaces of meter. 3 dwg
