METHOD OF SPECTRAL ANALYSIS OF FUMES Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: spectral analysis. SUBSTANCE: flow rate of mass of sample per time unit and air flow rate which is smoke forming medium of synthesized fume is set in sprayer of comparison samples having different chemical composition. Then fume is directed into second stage used as source of excitation of spectrum, dependence of analytical signal on concentration of corresponding tested microelement is established and value of its concentration is found. Dosed microelements in composition of synthesized fume are injected into tested fume and value of their concentration is found by atomization of comparison samples using in the capacity of sprayer D C arc discharge with gas-vortex stabilization of section of arc over atomized surface of samples close to anode. EFFECT: widened potential of spectral analysis of fumes of various origins, provision for accuracy of analysis, decreased requirements to range of concentrations utilized in set of comparison samples, reduced labor input. 1 dwg
