FIELD: measurement technology, analytical instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to equipment measuring water content in oil. Device has hollow body, electrode unit and electron converter. Cylindrical body of device has holder in the form of ring encompassing body along generating line and dividing body into two parts: one submerged in flow of tested medium and outer one located outside of flow. Electron unit is housed inside body on side of its outer butt. Electrodes are brought outside of limits of cylindrical body, are its continuation in longitudinal direction and come in the form of alternating potential and grounded flat plates delineated on outside by metal plates with soft bending of butt side which follows bending of pipe-line with flow of tested medium.
