FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in confectionery branch, and also in production of alcohol-free drinks, juices, milk and other food products for dietetic and diabetic alimentation. Sweetener for food products contains saccharin sodium salt, cyclamate, sodium hydrocarbonate, anhydrous food acid and sodium chloride. Used as a food anhydrous acid is succinic, or ascorbic, or citric, or tartaric acid, or their mixture. The sweetener contains the following components, mas.%: saccharin sodium salt, 5-15; cyclamate, 50-70; sodium hydrocarbonate, 15-20; food anhydrous acid or mixture of acids, 5-10; sodium chloride, 1-10. Proposed sweetener possesses treatment-and-prophylactic properties, high degree of sweetness, noncaloricity, quick solubility and thermostability at prolonged storage life.
