SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacturing curative-prophylactic and medicinal agents containing saccharin and used as a sweetening agent in dietetic and diabetic nutrition designated for prophylaxis of diabetus mellitus, atherosclerosis, obesity and control of excessive weight. A sweetening agent as tablets comprises the following components, wt.-%: sodium saccharinate, 8.8-15.0; sodium cyclamate, 67.0-71.3; gas-forming system, 18.0-19.9. The gas-forming system comprises a mixture of organic acids with mono- or disubstituted sodium, potassium, calcium or magnesium carbonates in their mass ratio = (7.5-8.4):(10.5-11.5), respectively. As organic acids the agent comprises tartaric, citric, succinic, fumaric, malic acids. The agent shows good organoleptic properties, pharmacological safety and stability.
