FIELD: ultrasonic devices. SUBSTANCE: transducer 1 includes cylindrical housing 2 with flat bottom 3. Piezoelectric ceramic disc 4 resting upon bottom 3 is placed in housing. Bottom 3 forms first electric connection with disc 4 forced to bottom by means of spring 5. Opposite to disc 4 end of spring 5 is in contact with electrically conductive member 7 and it forms second electric connection between disc 4 and member 7. When transducer is open spring 5 forces electrically conductive member 7 to stopper 8 for providing contact of member 7 with housing 2 and therefore short circuiting of disc 4. When cable 9 is connected, electrically conductive member 7 is shifted from stopper 8 and it forms electric connection between cable 9 and disc 4. In such construction electric connection with piezoelectric ceramic disc 4 is realized without soldering and ultrasonic transducer is short circuited when cable 9 is removed.
