FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed damper has housing, chamber filled with viscous liquid installed in housing, inertia mass spring-loaded at two sides and installed in chamber, and covers. Damper has additional housings, throttling devices, additional inertia masses and covers. Housings are made in form of parallelepipeds and are provided with additional chambers, each filled with viscous liquid. Inertia mass is made in form of piston spring-loaded at two sides and is installed in each chamber for dividing the chamber into above- piston and under-piston spaces communicating through corresponding throttling devices. Number of covers corresponds to number of chambers. Housings are installed with angular displacement to each other along damper axis. EFFECT: improved design of flexural-and-torsional vibration dampers. 11 dwg
