FIELD: pipeline fittings, namely shut off devices with drive mechanism in technological lines of pipeline for passing liquid aggressive media, vapor, gas with high temperature more than 600 C and pressure more than 400 at. SUBSTANCE: shut off valve includes housing with seat. Shut off organ is jointly connected with sealed rod mounted in housing with possibility of axial motion by means of flywheel. Lid is joined by thread with housing for forcing sealing of rod. Lid is joined by means of additional thread with rod. Types and pitch values of threads in connection of lid with housing and lid with rod are the same. Lid is provided with fixing member for locking it relative to housing. EFFECT: increased useful time period, improved repairability, enhanced operational conditions, elimination of non-controlled leakage due to combining functions of bottom box and working portion of valve in one lid. 4 cl, 2 dwg
