FIELD: measurement of angles in control systems. SUBSTANCE: solid wave gyroscope has resonator in the form of axially symmetric thin-wall element with at least one resonator electrode attached to outer or inner surface of resonator, case to which resonator is fixed and collection of control electrodes positioned in close proximity to resonator electrodes. Part of surface of resonator reflects light. Two sources of optical radiation as minimum and at least two photosensitive detectors are anchored in close proximity to light reflecting part of surface of resonator. Optical radiation is directed on to resonator. Reflected from light reflecting surface of resonator radiation hits photosensitive detectors. Parameters of standing waves are found by execution of some actions with signals from photosensitive detectors. EFFECT: raised accuracy and simplified design of gyroscope. 9 cl, 18 dwg
