FIELD: measurement of angles in control systems. SUBSTANCE: gyroscope has resonator in the form of axially symmetric thin-walled element, frame to which resonator is attached and assemblage of control electrodes positioned in close proximity to electrodes of resonator. At least one electrode of resonator is attached to external or internal surface of resonator. Resonator is made of optically transparent material. Part of surface of resonator is light reflecting surface. Two sources of optical radiation, as minimum, are anchored in opposition to light reflecting part of surface of resonator. At least one photosensitive detector is fixed in close proximity to face surface of resonator. EFFECT: raised precision and simplified design of gyroscope. 8 cl, 15 dwg
