FIELD: production of edible salt with reduced content of sodium chloride possessing prophylactic antihypertensive action. SUBSTANCE: antihypertensive edible salt has the following ratio of components, mas.%: sodium chloride, 65.0-70.5; potassium chloride, 27.0-31.0; potassium hyxacyanoferrate (II), 0.0002-0.001; anhydrous magnesium sulfate, the balance. Proposed salt has a simple composition and is universal for prophylactic administration. Due to using of magnesium sulfate in anhydrous form, said salt possesses stability at long-term storage.
