FIELD: aviation industry branches, namely restoration of fire tubes of combustion chambers. SUBSTANCE: in first variant of invention damaged fire tube is cut off and remaining portion of damaged section is removed at end turning. Turning process is ended in zone with boundaries equally spaced from middle of welded seam by distance L not exceeding value s+0.25mm, where s - distance from middle of welded seam until its boundaries. New section of fire tube is butt welded to one or two non-damaged sections. In second variant of invention damaged section is removed by cutting it off in zone whose boundaries are equally spaced from middle of welded seam by distance L not exceeding value s+0.25 mm. Then new section of fire tube is butt welded to one or two non-damaged sections. EFFECT: lowered labor consumption for repairing operations, enhanced reliability of repaired combustion chambers. 7 cl, 4 dwg
