FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of axially symmetric welded structures from aluminium alloys operated under pressure. First, bottom is butt welded with complex-shape variable-thickness ring produced by rotary drawing using internal expansion device with detachable gasket from antirust steel and external centering backrest. Then, variable-section threaded sleeve is butt-welded to said ring to make a joint on annular support. Location surfaces of threaded sleeve and ring bulges are produced by machining. Cup with pre-welded temporary flange is arranged on bottom outer surface and welded thereto. Welded seams are subjected to preliminary tightness tests. Remaining elements of the structure are positioned in turn in appliances in preset position relative to location surfaces and welded in place. Annular seams are automatically welded by non-consumable electrode in two passes with feeding of filler material in second pass at 43…47 A per 1 mm-thickness of part wall and welding rate of 11-14 m/h.

EFFECT: expanded process performances, higher quality of welding.
