FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of extraction of amorphous silica from a liquid phase of hydrothermal heat-carrier. Flow part of the spent hydrothermal heat-carrier at temperature 96-100 C is dispersed through perforated headpieces and damped on opened platform with snow cover. Snow deep is 0.8- 1.2 m, specific consumption of solution on surface is 2.0-3.5 g/m2. Environmental air temperature is from 30 C to +10 C. After process carrying out part of silica is removed from platform and dried to obtain fine- dispersed powder. Precipitated amorphous silica of the high specific surface (50-300 m2/g) shows the enhanced reactive capacity and low concentration of impurities that provides a possibility of use of the obtained material in many branches of industry, among them, for water glass making. EFFECT: improved method of extraction.
