FIELD: method for utilization of silica, deposited from hydrothermal heat carrier of hydrothermal power and heat-power plants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to utilization of deposited silica with simultaneous recovery of heat and power. Method includes aging of hydrothermal solution before deposition to provide total polymerization and growth of silica colloidal particles followed by addition of 100-1500 mg/kg calcium hydroxide (based on CaO), separation, dehydration, drying, and precipitate grinding. Obtained silica is added to cement for concrete manufacturing with silica content from 1 to 6-7 wt % and water/cement ratio of 0.25-0.37.
EFFECT: enhanced application range of deposited material, increased number of deposition regimes allowing silica utilization, and improved effectiveness of hydrothermal heat-transfer utilization.
