HEATING STOVE Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2186299 C2

FIELD: heating garden-plot houses, hothouses, individual animal buildings and accommodation spaces. SUBSTANCE: solid wood base fuel fired heating stove has front end wall with charging door and adjustable fuel feed nozzle, rear end wall with flue gas discharge nozzle, cylindrical housing with ducts for directional air flow, and inner partition. The latter divides combustion space into two unequal spaces intercommunicating on the side of wall with door; upper smaller space communicates with flue gas discharge nozzle accommodating additional air feeding pipes. Heating stove is made in the form of cylinder with two equidistant side shields joined together with common end walls. Shields and side cylindrical walls of stove form spaces communicating on top and at bottom with atmosphere through directional air flow ducts. Inner partition of cylinder that divides combustion space into intercommunicating spaces, fuel combustion and decomposition space, and gaseous-product afterburning space abuts against rear end wall and divides flue gas discharge nozzle section into two parts. Rear end wall is provided with additional system for controlling air admission to fuel decomposition space and fuel burning condition regulator. Introduced in gaseous-product afterburning space is additional air feeding pipe with two rows of injectors tilted up and down towards rear wall through angle of 30-60 deg. to horizontal line. Its ends are brought out to opposing directional air flow ducts and beveled through 15-45 deg. in direction of air flow. Heat accumulator is mounted near injectors in vicinity of air-to-gas mixing area and at least two transversal partitions are places behind it; they cover at least 0.6 of cross-sectional area of complete gaseous-fuel combustion chamber and form labyrinth for escape of gaseous fuel products. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to improved convective heat transfer and reduced mass and size per unit of energy. 2 cl, 4 dwg
