FIELD: equipment for water heating, possibly for heating rooms. SUBSTANCE: boiler includes housing in the form of jacket with heat transfer medium; fire box and gas duct are framed by means of said jacket. Inside inner volume of boiler heat exchanging member is vertically mounted. Said member is communicated with cavity of jacket and it divides flow of gaseous combustion products by two halves. Heat exchanging member has two portions, namely, : portion with cross section flared from downwards to upwards and portion with rectangular constant cross section having in its upper zone gas duct communicated with flue. In ducts formed between inner wall of framing jacket and heat exchanging member in portion with constant cross section there is intermittent partition in the form of oval or round elongations that is why horizontal section of flow remains constant and there is no rectilinear through duct for discharging combustion products. EFFECT: improved design allowing to enhance efficiency and intensity of heat exchange between combustion products and heat exchanging members of boilers. 4 cl, 4 dwg
